Death Race was promoted quite aggressively in the UK where we saw tons of press release and of course Jason himself promoting the movie over the last few weeks . Despite all the promotions Death Race opened to a lukewarm response at the UK boxoffice . It debuted at no.4 with an estimate of £ 683,038 with an average of £1,841 per theatre. As a huge fan of Jason and an even bigger movie buff. I finally saw Deathrace over the weekend, and found it to be amazing, heart pumping and adrenaline infused. Totally enjoyed it and can't wait to add to my collection of Jason must have movies. This week I also came across this article on Mail Online, and couldn't wait to post it, as Deathrace is now being released in the UK.

Jason Unhappy About Death Race Warning | Sep 29, 2008
For those who have seen the Death Race you must have noticed the warning message which appears at the end of the movie . According to the BBC, filmmakers were forced to put up a notice urging the public not to recreate the realistic car crashes which appear in the film.

It seems Jason didn't quite like the idea , here's what he said :

"As if that's going to happen. " He added to BBC Newsbeat: "'Dad I'm just going take the Escort out and I've just bolted two of those mini guns onto the bonnet. Is that alright? I'm just going to Asda'."

Thanks to Geraldine again for the find. Buzzfoto spotted Jason and Alex last Tuesday on their way to a romantic dinner at Urth Cafe Restaurant in West Hollywood, California. According to site , the two came out of the restaurant about two hours later walking very synchronized with every step and with smiles on their faces. For more click here
