| Death Race to hit Blu-Ray & DVD this fall | Oct 28, 2008 |

According to Half -Def Digest , Death Race will be hitting the stores on both Blu- Ray and DVD on December 23. Early specs will see both theatrical and unrated versions of the film on the same disc, plus BD-Live features (TBA) and Digital Copy.Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98 and the DVD will be priced at $29.98. Jason's debut movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels has been named the best movie set in London in a poll conducted to coincide with The Times BFI 52nd London Film Festival which kicked off on 15th October. Snatch also made it to No.9 on the list . To read the full article click here.

According to various sources , Jason is all set to star in the remake of French thriller "13 Tzameti," the winner of the 2006 Sundance Grand Jury Prize.Sam Riley, 50 Cent and Mickey Rourke is also set to star in the movie. The movie will be directed by Gela Babluani who directed the original .Paramount Vantage will handle international sales . The film will be produced by Rick Schwartz of Overnight Productions, Aaron Kaufman of Barbarian Films and Valerio Morabito of the Morabito Picture Company. It starts shooting in November in New York City. Here's the plot of the movie: Sebastian, a young man, has decided to follow instructions intended for someone else, without knowing where they will take him. Something else he does not know is that Gerard Dorez, a cop on a knife-edge, is tailing him. When he reaches his destination, Sebastian falls into a degenerate, clandestine world of mental chaos behind closed doors in which men gamble on the lives of others men. Chris just sent me the UK poster for Transporter 3 , its very much similar to the US poster we had earlier .The only major differences I can make out from the posters are the girl and the car in the middle is featured in a more bigger way in the UK poster and it has a tagline which reads " If you need it arrive safe and in one piece hire a professional". The UK site is also available , follow the link http://transporter3.co.uk/ .The site doesn't have much at the moment except the the teaser and you can register there for any kind of updates regarding the site. However the good news is , the UK fans won't have to wait much longer as the movie gonna hit the theaters in the UK only after nine days (Dec, 05) of it's US release. That's a huge relieve since Jason's last outing (Death Race) was released in the UK almost after one month of it's US release. |
